Designing Career in News Media

 ART DIRECTOR
 The candidate should be highly creative individual with minimum experience of 10 years in the publishing industry with leading newspapers and magazines. He/ she must have a good understanding about key publishing elements like informational graphics, illustration styles & techniques and printing & production technology. The candidate is expected to have prior proven experience as a Design Team Leader. Global experience or exposure is an added asset.
SENIOR DESIGNER
 The candidate must have at least 5 years if experience I the publishing indudatry.Experiece with news organizations is not mandatory but candidates with some exposure are preferred
 DESIGNERS
 The candidate must have at least 3 years experience in the publishing industry. Experience in the publishing industry. Experience with news organizations is not mandatory but candidates with some exposure are preferred Experience in illustration is an added advantage
INFORMATION GRAPHISTS
 The candidates must have an excellent nose for news ad a clear understanding of facts and figures. The person should have a very logical thought process and should have knowledge about wide ranging issues. He/She must also be I touch with the contemporary trends and styles in information graphics. The candidates must have an excellent command on Adobe Photoshop and any vector package (Preferably Cire Draw)
Graphics Researched Editor
Must be a journalist with a passion for graphics. A keen observer with an ability to understand the needs of a graphic artist; the candidate should be able to get to the bottom of a subject and bring forth different aspects of the issue
IIUSTRATORS /CARTOONISTS
 Candidates must have at least 5 years experience as IIustrators / Cartoonist with leading, news publications. They should be versatile and be able to visually capture the thrust of a story.
III.PUBLIC RELATIONS
District Public Relations officer (Group ‘B’) in Public Relations Department of a state:
 Essential Qualification
(i) Master’s Degree in Mass Communication or Journalism from a recognized University and two years media experience in  a National Faily Newspaper or Television Channel or Publicity Organization of Government or Public Undertaking or University. OR M.A (Hindi or English) from a recognized university and one year post Graduation Diploma in Mass Communication or Journalism and two years media experience in a National Daily Newspaper or Television Chanel or Publicity Organization of Government or Public Undertaking or University. (ii) Hindi up to Matric Standard
 Desirable
(i) Experience of media writing.
 (ii) Proficiency in use of commuter (World Processing)
 (iii) Proficiency in English Writing
 (iv) Specialization in Public Relations at Master’s Degree level.
Age 10-40 years.
