Institute of Communication & Journalism, Calicut Press Club, Kozhikode, has invited applications for admission to one year Post Graduate Diploma Course in Communication and Journalism for the year 2011-12.
Candidates having Graduation in any discipline can apply for the course. Those who are awaiting their final year degree results can also apply. Maximum age of the candidates should be 27 years as on June 1, 2011.
The application form and prospectus can be had from the Director, Institute of Communication and Journalism, Calicut Press Club, Kozhikode-1, on payment of Rs 250/- in cash at the Press Club counter. Those who want them by post should send Rs 250/- by way of MO or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Institute of Communication & Journalism along with Rs 10/- stamped self addressed cover.
Completed applications are to reach Director, Institute of Communication & Journalism, Calicut Press Club, Kozhikode - 673 001 on or before June 20, 2011.

This is the thing which i really appreciate. Journalism preparation infuses a stable intellectual foundation so you know what to say, when to say it, how to say it and why you are saying it. It teaches you how to ask tough questions and then report the answers clearly and concisely. As they say, inquiring minds want to know. A journalist has thirst on behalf of everyone.
