An inherent passion for photography coupled with professional training can make commercial and digital photography a lucrative profession.
Photography course can be interesting proposition for a creative individual interested in aesthetics, creativity and technical expertise. Moreover, a professional photographer desirous of having a career should have adequate knowledge about light, color, shades, human expressions, visual effect, nature and wildlife.
Different areas of specialization are commercial photography, journalistic photography, portrait photography, fashion and advertising photography, wild life and outside photography.
Courses
Many institutes offer certificate and diploma courses in photography. Beside these, photography is also offered as an optical subject for a bachelors in Fine Arts in some institutes.. Some institutes offer full –fledged B.A courses in photography of three years duration.
Eligibility
A Candidate is required to pass their +2 or Higher Secondary examination for enrollment in a Diploma or Certificate course in photography. Bachelors degree also needs plus Two Qualification
